A mom and child enjoying PlayWiseKidsPlayWiseKids' exhibits are designed to be hands-on to allow children to freely touch, feel, and play with everything. Children are encouraged to try new activities, or spend time in areas where they have enjoyed playing in the past. Our exhibits are so engaging that children frequently spend HOURS at PlayWiseKids.

The PlayWiseKids staff is constantly striving to add to or improve existing exhibits and to create new ones. So – don't be surprised if you find new dress-ups, reworked exhibit areas, or new activities each time you visit.

What ages enjoy PlayWiseKids exhibits?

The quick answer is ALL AGES – but read on for more information…

Children under the age of 1 react positively to PlayWiseKids because they are stimulated by the colors, lights and the presence of other children. (Plus – it's a great place to meet other parents!)

Toddlers enjoy our sandbox, our soft blocks, the train room, the castle with ball pit, the jeep slide, the toddler play equipment and many other PlayWiseKids exhibits!

Children ages 2 – 10 enjoy pretending to drive our real fire engine; our new 4' tall dinosaur puzzle in the nature exhibit; dressing up and seeing themselves on television; dancing with tap shoes; arts & crafts; the game room; the ambulance and medical exhibit; putting on a puppet show; the construction room; the kids' grocery store; the Chesapeake Bay sandbox; computer games; the Board Room and the castle with ball pit!!!

Children over 10 have a great time at PlayWiseKids when they are accompanied by friends or younger children. They tend to gravitate to the dress up and dance areas, the fire engine and computer games, the nature exhibit, the game room, and the arts & crafts area.

Children ages 2 – 10 enjoy pretending to drive our real fire engine.Adults often ask if they can drive the fire engine or play in the sandbox!!! The answer is - of course – as long as you are supervising your children at the same time! We frequently see adults having more fun than the kids playing foosball or coloring in the arts & crafts area!

Because PlayWiseKids is fun for so many age groups, it is the perfect setting for a family-friendly company or group outing. PlayWiseKids can be rented-out for private parties and special events!!! Call us 410-772-1540 ext. 0 for more information.
